The CRC is happy to announce we have begun work on the Ali Conference Center which was flooded during Hurricane Harvey. Harvey hit the CRC hard by flooding all our lodges, Oblate Hall, and the Ali Conference Center. With the support of many volunteers we were able to get the lodges and Oblate Hall operational to continue our retreat ministry. We also used donor funds to create drainage around the CRC to prevent future damage. This past Fall we started a fund to help us raise money to replace our damaged roofs at the CRC and this December we began working at the Ali. The work at the Ali will include removal of trees to allow for drainage, replacing the roof (which currently leaks), replacing the 50 year old siding (many places has holes), restructuring the interior to add another small conference space (like the Gerard Room), making the bathrooms ADA accessible, and moving the CRC Offices to the Ali. We have a lot of work before us and with your support we look forward to providing additional meeting space and rooms for the retreat ministry. All donations to the CRC goes towards improving our facilities and grounds.
