The Meditation Chapel does not have a sound system, but due to it's quaint size, it is not necessary to have amplification. It has the capacity to seat up to 40 people.
Chapels are to be used by Roman Catholics or Rites in union with the Roman Catholic Church solely for the celebration of the Mass, Exposition of Blessed Sacrament, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle, Liturgy of the Hours, prayer (both communal and private), and confessions. Any Church not in union with the Roman Catholic Church but wishing to use the Chapel would require authorization from the Bishop in addition to availability. No meetings, skits, small groups, activities, conferences, or any boisterous/noisy activities may be held in the chapels. If chapels are used for Exposition, there must be at least one person present when the Holy Eucharist is exposed. Please do not move or remove items from the chapel (refrigerator, statues, altar, liturgical environment etc.).
The Chancel (altar area) is reserved solely for Liturgy and the Blessed Sacrament and should not be used as a stage. The furniture inside the Chapel is not be moved. Please remember this is not a conference space to alter but a consecrated Catholic Chapel which houses the Blessed Sacrament. Multiple groups are on-site at the same time, the Chapels are reserved for Catholic groups only since the Blessed Sacrament is present.
*The Christian Renewal Center has two Chapels for you to reserve for your sacred activities during your stay. If you plan to do a Mass in either of the Chapels you must provide your own host, wine, and Priest. A Monstrance is available in both chapels to hold a 2 1/2 inch host for Adoration.
