Thanks to the volunteers that came out for the CRC Volunteer Workday on Sunday, October 28th! We were able to get 5 flowerbeds weeded, 6 areas of bushes and roses trimmed, and one fallen tree removed from our courtyard! We had volunteers from Shrine of the True Cross, Our Lady of Lourdes, St. Mary's in Texas City and St. Mary's in League City.

Running the CRC is expensive as we have to maintain 52-acres, 64 rooms, 7 lodges, 2 chapels, 4 conference centers, and a cafeteria. The retreat cost covers the basic retreat operations of utilities, maintenance, custodial, dining, and hospitality but it does not cover much needed renovations to our facility. We have created a strategic plan to improve the facilities and grounds at the CRC and need your help. Our first goal is to raise $147,000 to replace the roofs and add gutters at the CRC. This first step, allows us to protect our facilities and to move forward with the beautification of our buildings. Will you join us to Raise the Roof at the CRC? We are asking each of you to consider what type of donation you can make for our Raise the Roof Campaign. Join the CRC for a Workday on Sunday, October 28 from Noon - 7PM. This workday is to focus on our grounds through trimming trees, cutting trees, hauling away trees, wedding flower beds, trimming shrubs, and planting shrubs and flowers. Please bring your own tools and bring the family to help!
