On Tuesday Kim gave a tour to two groups and at the end both groups were so grateful for the opportunity to walk the grounds, talk retreat space, see the improvements, and know the available resources. So the CRC has decided to begin offering Monthly tours in the daytime and evening to meet the needs of all our users. On the 1st Wednesday of every month, retreat planners and teams are invited to attend the tour at Noon or 6PM to better know the space that they are working with. Tours meet in the cafeteria and will be conducted in English. Majority of tours will be given by Kim Brown, the CRC Director. No need to RSVP, just arrive on-time! Tours for the Fall: August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6, and December 4.
The Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist will be giving talks at the Mother Daughter Retreat in October. Register today during early registration to save money!!! The talks, crafts, activities, and games will be focused on daughters in 1st - 6th grade.
For the past two weeks Life Teen Restore Mission Camp called the CRC home. Two different sessions saw teens from the Archdiocese as well as traveling from out of state participating. During this time, the teens worked on drainage around the rooms, the stations of the cross path, entrance sign and gate, removing brush, and painting poles.
The Family Vacation In God We Trust was a great success at the CRC. Families attending thought is was a wonderful experience and loved the variety of talks, games, crafts, and activities. Father Ben celebrated Mass daily and the group prayed together. Thanks to the Scanlan Foundation for their Grant making this years Family VBS a reality!
