I am writing to share some exciting updates about our ongoing cafeteria renovation project and to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support. As you may know, our cafeteria has been a cornerstone of the Christian Renewal Center since its construction in 1966. Originally designed to serve 60 people, it now caters to an average of 130 guests each weekend, with some weekends accommodating up to 200 individuals. In 2023 alone, we served 23,793 meals across 140 retreats. The CRC, has been awarded a generous $12,000 grant from the John G. & Marie Stella Kenedy Memorial Foundation. This grant will facilitate a significant renovation project aimed at transforming one of the center’s rooms into a fully wheelchair-accessible space.
