"For years, I practiced yoga mainly for its health benefits, often meditating on Jesus to make it feel right. I loved the calm it brought me, and I even considered becoming a yoga instructor to help my two kids, who struggle with anxiety, learn to relax. However, as I explored instructor classes, I felt the Holy Spirit nudging me in a different direction. I discovered Pietra Fitness, which beautifully integrates Faith with movement. I felt called to become an instructor there, as their focus on nurturing the mind, body, and soul really resonated with me. Pietra Fitness is a stretching and strengthening workout class that incorporates Christian prayer in the Catholic Tradition. Classes for Women will be this Lent on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 12PM - 1PM at the CRC. The cost for the 6 Lent Session Series is $60.
